I can see how it would be fantastic for some guilds and it could go horrible bad for others.

I'm in a small guild and finding 2 tanks, 2-3 heals and 5-6 dps all online at the same time is tough. Sometimes we have 12 people online but the make up in 2 healers and the rest dps. We'd like to do something but PuGing the tanks would be awful, so we don't.

Grabbing all those guys and zerging a boss, would be a blast. A dying, laughing, OMG lag fight but it would be fun and something we could do together as a team.Edenvalehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14478781757911860428noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4041140959859966193.post-68565338876782635652011-05-23T15:15:23.300+01:002011-05-23T15:15:23.300+01:00Never thought of this

The first time I entered an instance (WoW), I was thinking: "How stupid! What kind of godly barrier prevents more people to enter? What kind of gamey limitation i this? Why don't the designers, at least, try to be more subtle about it ??"

Of course, there are gameplay reasons that the designers have fixed group sizes in many games. But to not have them is the natural, the immersive way, I think.Nilshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06468755466492675831noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4041140959859966193.post-85934781763470653092011-05-23T12:38:29.813+01:002011-05-23T12:38:29.813+01:00Never thought of this - it's a 100% winsauce i...Never thought of this - it's a 100% winsauce idea. People that can't get into boss-killing raids - which judging by the ammount of trash runs going on right now is everyone that isn't in a raiding guild - can see content. It would go a long way into stopping the rot of burnout and keeps causuals interested. take 20 people into a 10 man, You still need to do the mechanics (kill adds, move from fire etc) and you can at least have a chance at purples and see content that 5% of players get to see.

Literally see no bad side to this idea.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
